Some of the most interesting scorpion facts

It is always good to go through some of the ideal scorpion facts in order to protect yourself from any kind of danger caused by them.

Where do Scorpions Exist?

Although they prefer dry, arid regions scorpions can adapt to a variety of habitats. They can be found in their usual environs - desert flats, sand dunes, and Desert Mountains - or in grasslands and both pine and deciduous forests.

The largest types of scorpions can be found in desert areas. They will come into homes, looking for food and water, and since they enjoy hidden places, will even get between the bed covers. People who live in arid regions learn to shake out the covers and check their shoes each morning before they put them on as a matter of course.

What do Scorpions Prey Upon?

Scorpions tend to eat small insects such as spiders and millipedes and some big types of scorpions can even eat small birds. Big scorpions eat smaller members of their own species and this is the main type of prey that they feed on.
